Colour trends for wedding stationery 2014

Colour plays a very important part in your wedding stationery and the colours chosen can also reflect the season you are holding your nuptials. We also find that couples like to add a splash of colour to the invites that perhaps matches the bridal party colours.

Spring weddings tend to be ‘fresher’ in colour with couples opting for stationery in hues of light green or shimmery yellow. Pinks and lilacs are also a very good choice for this time of year.

Summer wedding stationery trends for 2014 are so very versatile, we are seeing lots of purples, pinks and golds for this time of year and we absolutely love to see the excitement building as we get these together for our budding brides and grooms. Brighter colours of magenta, cerise and turquoise are superb colours to set the tone for your summer wedding.

Autumn wedding invites regardless of the year or ‘what’s on trend’ tend to always represent the season more so than other times of the year, with brides opting for golden hues, pale ambers, bronzes, coppers and cinnamon tones.
